How Often Should I see an Occupational Therapist?
The frequency of visits with one of our occupational therapists will vary depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people may find they only require a few appointments, while others may require ongoing support. Once you have your initial consultation with your occupational therapist, together you will determine the best schedule for review appointments. What Will I Talk About in my First Appointment?
The Occupational Therapist will have an informal chat with you about your life. The initial appointment can take 90 minutes, so if you need to walk around, take a break or split the sessions up over a couple of weeks then our therapists will gladly accommodate this. At the first session we will go through a series of questions where we talk about your goals, aspirations and obstacles. We then work with you to make a plan on how to make some adjustments to ensure you can be in the best position to achieve your goals. What areas on the Sunshine Coast do you Service?
